HIKE TO MATINDEN WITH HUSKIES
Join us on a scenic hike to Matinden, the most iconic mountain on Andøya. Enjoy this amazing coastal adventure in the company of our friendly huskies as we explore breathtaking views and the island’s magical atmosphere. And starting in 2026, you’ll even have the chance to experience this unforgettable hike alongside our adorable puppies!

Weather & Dog Sledding Conditions
For all experiences that include dog sledding, it’s important to know that rides depend entirely on the weather. We take nature’s conditions very seriously—especially wind, snow, and rain.
For the safety of our guests and our dogs, dog sledding will only take place when conditions are suitable. If the weather does not allow it, we will adjust the experience accordingly.
Puppy Visit
Our husky Maisy welcomed a beautiful litter of puppies at the beginning of November. Meeting the puppies is included in all our experiences, so you’ll always get some extra fluffy cuddles!
Food Allergies
If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance. We’re happy to arrange an alternative to cinnamon buns or adjust the snacks to suit your needs.

All our activities start at Stave Camping, our official meeting point and partner.
Accommodation is available, featuring beautiful winter-ready apartments and options suitable for larger groups.
